What is Rubber Crumb & Chippings

Rubber crumb and chipping are an artificial surface designed for any places where safety is paramount, such as playgrounds, activity centres or walkways. It offers excellent visual variety, and can be fully customised both in colour and pattern.

100% of the rubber used in these surfaces is recycled. A resin bound rubber surface also works out considerably cheaper than traditional wet pour surfaces.

Every job can be customised to meet the preferences of the client, whether it be a business, home, park or school. We offer 20kg poly bags, so you can order different colours as needed. If you don't want to mix them, you can simply buy the different colours to create patterns yourself.

When used with our specially formulated resin binder, you will be able to produce a solid surface that is bouncy enough to conform to British safety standards. Children are always falling or bumping themselves whilst playing, and a resin bound rubber surface will provide peace of mind for parents.

What are the benefits of Rubber Crumb & Chippings?

There are a host of benefits for using rubber crumb and chippings, these include:

  • Ideal safety surface for playgrounds
  • Bouncy surface absorbs impact from falls
  • Highly cost-effective
  • Virtually maintenance free
  • Very easy to clean
  • Easy application
  • Fully SUDS Compliant
  • Limitless design and colour combinations
  • Made from 100% recycled rubber

The rubber chippings are mixed on site and come in handy sized 20kg poly bags, which are currently available in 6 different colours.

Unlike traditional playground bark and loose rubber, which require almost constant topping up, rearrangement and replacement, resin bound rubber chippings are virtually maintenance free.

The rubber crumbs and chippings are bound in resin; therefore, it is fully SUDS compliant, heavily reducing the risk of flooding.
